Summer is a perfect time to reduce stress and regain your positive outlook. Learn new techniques for finding calm, both in and out of the classroom. All seminars are offered asynchronously online and are worth 5 CTLE hours.

Educators can also earn CTLE hours at six regional learning centers. These classes are organized by local union leaders and offered free of charge to NYSUT members.

Earn your Early Childhood Developmental Level Birth - Grade 2 certification ─ NYSUT can help

Did you know that ELT courses have been reviewed and approved by the State Education Department to fulfill specific certification requirements, including Early Childhood Developmental Level Birth – Grade 2?  

NYSUT's Education & Learning Trust, in partnership with Empire State University, offers members the ability to obtain 6 credits toward their Early Childhood Developmental Level Birth - Grade 2 certification. For instance, Empire State University offers Beginning Reading, Grades PreK-2 which focuses on pedagogy for young learners. Get a jump on your certification requirements this summer! All members enjoy a steep discount.
