Gear up before the year’s up

And earn CTLE hours

What educators do in the classroom is only half the job; the other half is planning lessons that will engage students, deepen their understanding of materials and support connections they make between subjects. Whether you want to put a new spin on an old lesson or incorporate a brand-new approach, these seminars will get you ready for the year ahead. These remote seminars are offered asynchronously, and each is worth 5 CTLE hours. All seminars are discounted for NYSUT members.

Educators can also earn CTLE hours at six regional learning centers. These classes are organized by local union leaders and offered free of charge to NYSUT members.
