Teaching the whole child and earn CTLE hours

ELT NEWSLETTER March 2024

Teaching the whole child

And earn CTLE hours

When it comes to giving our students the tools they need to succeed in the real world, academic lessons are just part of the bigger picture. Today’s teachers are also working with parents to teach students how to build stronger emotional awareness, make responsible decisions, navigate social relationships and manage their emotions. Research has demonstrated that students who attain competency in these areas perform better academically and have fewer disciplinary issues than other students. These two seminars will show educators how to facilitate these connections. Each is worth 5 CTLE hours. All courses are discounted for NYSUT members.
